ROSALIND WYNN
Executive Producer
Rosalind Wynn is a creative producer with 15 years’ experience in the industry. Skills include business strategy and management, fundraising from public and private sources, finance, tour booking, contracting, stakeholder management, partnership working, networking, marketing strategy, company management and team leadership. She has produced shows at all scales from conception through to touring, both within the UK and internationally. She has also produced film projects for the BBC and corporate projects for international brands. She has been a Governor at The Place since August 2018 and joined Dickson Mbi Company in August 2023.
Rosalind understands intimately the conditions required to make the best work possible and how to support artists to achieve their ambitions. She works closely and sensitively with people building trust and collaboration in an open manner.
From 2013-2022 she worked for Gecko, the UK’s leading devised physical theatre company. From 2016, as Executive Producer, she ran the company alongside Artistic Director Amit Lahav. During her time at the company, turnover doubled and the company developed relationships with the National Theatre and Barbican, as well as a key partnership with Ipswich Borough Council and Arts Council England to build the Gecko Creation Space, raising almost £1m by the time of her departure. Internationally, the company toured to 33 venues/festivals across 16 countries and she led the company’s 2016 co-production with Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre in China. She also expanded the Creative Engagement strand of the company’s work, delivering projects alongside productions to widen reach as well as for underserved participants such as care home residents in standalone projects.
